Cicatelli, also known as capunti, pasta is one of many traditional pasta shapes from Puglia. The elongated, rustic shape is traditionally made by rolling small pieces of dough with the fingers across a floured surface.
The pasta has a pea-pod shape with ridges that grip heavier sauces beautifully. Capunti is perfect for heartier meat sauces and chunky tomato sauces.
